About
Designed for an open fireplace, this modern looking dog grate will provide an enclosed area to burn your seasoned logs or smokeless coal. Made in the same factory as our well known cast iron stoves, you can rest assured it will be made from the best quality cast iron virgin ore available to the market. This particular model has been painted in heat-resistant black paint with areas at the front buffed, to give a beautiful stainless steel shine. The sides are steel and the insides are lined with high density vermiculite bricks to lock in the heat.
NOTE: We always recommend having a couple of smaller fires first before a normal larger sized fire to allow the cast iron metal to season. If looked after properly, this dog grate will last for many years to come.

Bio Kit
OPTION: We are offering this set with a removable Bio Ethanol Burner and ceramic log set (as seen in picture). This gives you great flexibility to switch from wood, smokeless coal and now bioethanol.
Each burner is made from stainless steel and has a burn time of between 3 and 3.5 hours based on 1 litre of fuel.
Log Dimensions: 260mm x 70mm x 60mm - 3 logs per set.
